From the field to the lab, Schoenberger has been investigating adaptations of the island fox through molecular studies and museum collections. She'll talk about using RNA sequencing and gene expression analysis to explore how divergent populations of island foxes, under varying conditions, may respond differently to infection by the same parasite (ear mites).
